| Selcof is the only company that produces seatposts in Europe, producing 800,000 pcs. per year. The company was founded after WWII producing saddle parts for motorcycles and bicycles then in 1985 began producing aluminum seatposts. The complete range of seatposts has expanded to include 30 models and 34 different diameters and Selcof produces in aluminum, titanium as well as carbon. Today's quality standards from Selcof meet UNI, ISO and AFNOR norms and with the flexibility in manufacturing Selcof can produce quickly to meet customer demand.
Young and dynamic people supported by the experience of the Bizzotto family lead the technical staff at Selcof designing the most advanced products with the most modern aesthetics. Professional racing teams assist with product testing and Selcof has collaborated with Lampre, Vini Caldirola and Phonak for road racing and the Scott Racing Team for mountain bike. Thanks to the most up-to date computerized technology, each new design is virtually tested to fix the structural limits and to verify security, lightness and quality specifications which characterize the entire production. The engineers constantly search for new materials; alloy and composites to guarantee more sophisticated high level products. The quality control of the products is carried out in all the production phases by testing samples in external and independent laboratories that certify physical and structural characterisitics.
